Mass wine is made from grapes of the garnacha variety. The must
begins a slow process of fermentation until reaching the ideal
point for the sugars, at which time alcohol is added to halt the
fermentation and leave the wine with a quantity of residual natural
sugar which gives it that special tone of semi-sweet wine with
a bright golden colour and a palate rich in fresh grape flavours.
