A semi-sweet wine produced from the grape of the malvasia variety.
When the grape reaches its peak of ripeness it is harvested, and
after pressing goes into the tanks to begin its slow fermentation
process. When it reaches its ideal point grape spirit is added
to maintain a semi-sweet wine with a bright golden colour and
a sweet taste characteristic of the malvasia grape.
